uuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

29 weeks and 2 days and I don't think it will EVER end!!! I am freaking miserable and probably making everyone around me freaking miserable :-). I have barely slept in 5 days, my entire body feels like someone took a baseball bat to it and to top it all off, I started having some sort of contractions last night. They weren't super painful, but pretty darn uncomfortable. Hopefully they are just Braxton-Hicks contractions because it is way too early for Gavin to make his entrance into this world. Although by his activity level he seems to be saying he is going to break out of there his self if someone won't let him out soon. I may have already posted this but can't remember so.... I read an article last week about counting fetal movements/kicks and that you should feel at least 10 in two hours. Well I counted last Monday, I believe, and Gavin kicked me 18 times in under a minute!! Although I am super happy that he is so healthy my bladder and ribs are very unhappy. I have another OB appt tomorrow so hopefully it will go well. I will have my Rh shot just in case that Gavin's blood isn't negative like mine.

Clay has made a ton of progress on the nursery, thank goodness. See the pictures below

Below is my belly picture at 28 weeks! Getting bigger and bigger!!!

Check-up

Well Gavin and I had another checkup this morning. The first one we have had to do solo since I didn't think Clay would want to hang around for my glucose test. Boy was that a mistake!! I got sick as a dog! Everything was going fine until 45 minutes in when I almost passed out. I started having cold sweats and feeling really weak and light headed, I could barely keep my eyes open and thought I might throw up right were I was. I had recovered at bit by the time the nurse came and got me but I could still barely walk to the lab. She said it probably didn't help that I am recovering from the stomach bug, but either way that was miserable business.

On a brighter note, the stomach bug didn't set Gavin back any! He was as active as ever although he did give me a small break and only punch/kick my lower abdomen and not my stomach. The nurse at SOBGYN had the hardest time getting him to be still enough to count his heartbeats. Dr. Culbreth said that this was a really good sign. Another wonderful piece of info I received is that I gained less than 2 lbs!!!! Woohoo!! Now if I can only keep this up, I might actually gain close to 50 lbs total. AGGGGHHHH.
